BBC Flog It

Paul Martin the presenter of BBC Flog It recently visited Oakham Treasures with the production team for the filming of their next series.  Keith Sherrell was filmed with Paul talking about how the collection started and some of the more interesting facts about the various tractors in the collection.  Filming then progressed to outside where Paul was filmed driving one of Keith's newer tractors.

More filming for other episodes were scheduled for this day as well, the episode where Paul interviews a Doctor about Penicillin, this was filmed in front of our chemists counter.  Also look out for the Hornby trains episode that was filmed with some of our trains in our grocery department and even a member of staff acted as the shop keeper.

It was a great day for us at Oakham Treasures, there was a great buzz all around with the celebrity Paul Martin on site for the day.  We were transfixed with watching all the professionalism from the crew and the way in which Director organised everyone.
