Gold Winners

Last night at the Saunton Sands Hotel in Devon, it was revealed that Oakham Treasures had WON the GOLD award for BEST SMALL VISITOR ATTRACTION 2009-2010 in the prestigious South West Tourism Excellence Awards.

Guest speaker for the evening was Gill Williams who is Travel Editor for the Sunday Mirror she spoke passionately about the sustainability in the coming years of the tourism industry.

The event was also covered by various media including the Western Daily Press, Western Morning News and the Daily Mail. 

The sponsor for our award was Take-One Media their Managing Director Phillipa Harris presented Ruth & Helen with a Bristol Blue trophy and framed certificate.

As a GOLD winner we have now been entered for VisitEngland's National Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2010.  In previous years this has been well represented from the South West, and we are looking forward to taking part in this nationwide award program.
