BBC Radio Bristol's Visit

Today at Oakham Treasures we were delighted to welcome Trevor Fry from BBC Radio Bristol.  Trevor currently presents the late show as well as the Sunday morning breakfast programme for the Bristol, Somerset and South Gloucestershire regions. 

On sundays mornings between 9 and 10, Trevor along with three resident gardening experts Jekka McVicar, Mary Payne and Nige North share their experience and knowledge with listeners.  These features can be  recorded at various locations around the region.

On their visit to us they recorded two features which will be broadcasted firstly on Sunday 27th December and secondly on Sunday 3rd January 2010.

Although we have no prominent gardening collection, tune in between 9 and 10 to  hear  their tales and some very amusing stories !
