Portishead Town FC

Oakham Treasures are pleased to be sponsoring Portishead Town's B Team Football Club, we are wishing them all the best for a successful season.

This year sees Portishead Town F.C. celebrate the Clubs centenary year (Founded in 1913 by Molly Jukes) and to mark this achievement they have spent the summer trying to recruit news sponsors for each team.

Today the club is made up of five senior mens teams, an under 18's mens boys team and a Ladies team all playing in various leagues. In recent years the club has moved on a number of positive steps by having the first team entered into the Toolstation League a high standard for Amateur Football which meant the requirements of having a flood lit pitch and seating area for spectators. The under 18's team was also formed at the same time allowing the towns promising young players a platform to test themselves against well recognised Amateur clubs and the FA Youth Cup. The club are now trying to push on once more to achieve FA Chartered status to help fund further progression with facilities and standards at the football club.

Portishead ‘B' Team is currently managed by Matthew Derrick and Michael Dilloway who are hoping to drive the team to success in the Weston & District Division 3 as well as having good progress in a number of cup competitions.
