Shaun the Sheep

Sheep flock to Oakham after a summer on the streets of Bristol & London, 120 iconic sculptures created by artists, using the Oscar-award-winning Aardman Animations character Shaun the Sheep, which were part of a public art trail. These sculptures went under the hammer in an auction hosted by acclaimed Sotheby's auctioneer Tim Wonnacott on Thurdsday 8th October, raising a fantastic £1,087,000 for the Grand Appeal and Wallace & Gromits Childrens Charity to support sick children across the UK.

Oakham Treasures were lucky enough to secure the bids on 5 Shauns which were, Isambaaard, Tutti Fruitti, Sheep Shape & Bristol Fashion, Alright me Babber and Bagpuss.
Our flock of five, joins two Gromits Mandrills best friend and Creature Comforts which were purchased from the 2013 auction.  All can be seen free of charge at Oakham Treasures.
