Lea Francis Car

The Lea Francis Company from Coventry only built 200 cars during 1948 -1951 and in its day would have been a very expensive purchase. This car was originally maroon coloured with beige upholstery and was a director’s car. In 1953 it had been repainted first grey gunmetal and then two tone green at this time the engine was also replaced.

With only very few registered owners it is still complete with all its original tools and tool roll.

The car in our collection is a model 14/70 Mk V6 Saloon and was first registered in May 1949, it can be seen in the Engine Room at Oakham Treasures.
